I grew up on a farm in Upper Austria. Cows, cats and lots of green. Maybe I was always meant to return to some sort of food&farm environment.

But first life had some other stopovers in store: I studied Classical Archeology, spent years in IT, many years. But now it is back to the living organisms. 

The hissing sound of the kraut, the noble white mold around the legume - this is where I want to be.​

Augora dedicates itself to wild fermentation. No additives, no GMO, no laboratory designed bacteria! The metamorphosis is triggered merely by bacteria & yeast that is constantly around us. It's alive!

 

Our body carries more bacteria cells than human cells. If our gut flora is not contact, neither are we.
